SHEFFIELD-Fans of The Beatles in the Shoals can enjoy a concert by one of the world’s top Fab Four tribute bands! Yesterday: A Tribute to The Beatles, endorsed by Sir Paul McCartney himself, will be performing at the Ritz Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at tennesseevalleyarts.org.
Founded by Don Bellezzo, Yesterday has been performing in the United States and internationally since 2001. With seven tours of Japan, dozens more to Canada, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Bahamas, and United States military bases throughout the world, these entertainers have performed on five continents.
“The Beatles are one of the most beloved and influential rock bands in history, and this throwback tribute concert is a great way to celebrate their iconic songs,” said Christi Britten, executive director of the Tennessee Valley Art Association, which runs The Ritz.
Yesterday has been featured in Rolling Stone and on NBC, CBS, ABC, and more. They are the resident Beatles show band for “Legends in Concert,” the world’s premier and longest running tribute show, for their shows in Las Vegas, Nevada and Branson, Missouri.
