Be On The Lookout – BOLO – Florence Police ask public for help

FLORENCE – This just in from Florence P.D. They are looking for somebody and want the public to keep their eyes open.

Here’s the notice:

“Police are investigating a string of business burglaries and attempted burglaries along Cloverdale Road. Anyone with information is asked to call Florence Police at 256-760-6610 or text a tip using your cell phone. Text “FPDTIP” plus your message and send it to “CRIMES” (274637)”

Here’s the obvious, but necessary language… Police never want citizens to attempt to apprehend a crime suspect on their own. Rather than taking the law into your own hands, if you know the whereabouts of this person, call the authorities. Never try to apprehend a criminal suspect on your own.
