The Bake Sale is Saturday, February 10th from 10am to 1pm at the Animal Services Building, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence, AL. 100% of the money raised from the Bake Sale benefits Chloe’s Fund.
We have cakes, cookies, breads, cupcakes, pies and various treats for you and your furbaby. For the first time, homemade cat treats will be available! Our volunteer bakers have become well known for their specialty items and everything is made fresh to order. It’s best to preorder our goodies – the menu is posted on the following Facebook pages; Chloe’s Fund for Medical Needs of Florence Shelter Animals and Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. Our Bake Sale Coordinator, Lisa Wilson Rim can also text the BE MY VALENTINE BAKE SALE Menu to you; contact her at 804-240-6880 (she’s local). Direct Message Lisa on Facebook (or call) to place your order – the deadline to pre-order the baked goods is Wednesday, February 7th at 3pm. You can pick up your order on Saturday, February 10th from 10am-1pm at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence, or you can take your chances that our volunteers were inspired and baked more than ordered!
Chloe’s Fund was started in March of 2017 after shelter volunteers, Glen and Debby Nelson lost their beloved dog of 16 years, Chloe. After Chloe’s passing, the Nelsons and their friends set out on a mission to help as many sick and injured Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services animals as possible. Since its inception, Chloe’s Fund vetted and saved the lives of more than 800 animals suffering from various illnesses and in need of medical attention.
