Mr. Barry “Sonny” Leon Tyler, age 72, of Union Grove, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Marshall Medical Centre North.
Mr. Tyler was born on September 15, 1946 in Marshall County to Herman O. Tyler & Mary Davis Tyler. He enjoyed tending to the lawn, mowing and watching television especially movies.
He attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church #2.
Mr. Tyler is survived by his mother, Mary T. Allen; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara J. Feemster & David; nephew, Larry Joe Black; nieces, Sharon & Eddie Massengill, Julie & T.J. Pritchett; great nieces, Courtney Nix, Morgan Nix. Preceded in death by his father, Herman Tyler; grandparents, George Francis Tyler, Walter & Edna Davis.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bryan Mosley, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
