Barry Lynn Shores, age 63, of Hephzibah, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016.
The memorial service was held Saturday, April 16, 2016, at McNeill Funeral Home, Augusta, Georgia.
Barry lived a quiet life, loved his family, was always thoughtful of others, kind and compassionate. He was most happy when fishing.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. Barry was baptized at Lackland Baptist Church, S.A., Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, William G. Shores Sr.
He is survived by daughter, Dana Bargeron and four children, of Augusta, Georgia.; son, William Anthony Shores, of Augusta, Georgia; mother, Elizabeth Shores, of S.A.,Texas; brothers, William G. Shores Jr. (Betty), of Heaslet, Texas, James M. Shores, of New Mexico; sisters, Barbara K. Phipps (Jim), of South Carolina, Carol Shores, of S.A., Texas, Sheila Bevis and daughter, Amanda, of Florence, Alabama; numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews and one great-great niece.
