Barry Eugene Wiggins, age 70, a resident of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Meadowbrook Health and Rehab.
His body will lie in state on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 12:00 – 4:00 PM, with a visitation from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Rosemont Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on September 12, 1953, in Columbia, Tennessee, Barry was the son of the late Arthur Wiggins and the late Christine Spence Johnson. He was a 1972 graduate of Columbia Central High School. He worked many years for Occidental Chemical Company in Columbia and later worked several years for Intercity Products in Lewisburg, before retiring. He loved cars and riding motorcycle, and he especially enjoyed his family. He was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Regina Kane) Wiggins of Columbia, TN, Barry (Tontonisha) Wiggins of Columbia, TN, brother, Michael Wiggins of Columbia, TN, grandchildren, Darnell Wiggins, Shaq Sparkman, Kevnisha Sparkman, great grandchild, Ariah Brielle, devoted friend, Geneva Wynn, devoted cousin, Wanda Ward-Dunn, and nephew, Eric Wiggins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur L. Wiggins.
