Barry Clinton (Clint) Majors – Obituary

Barry Clinton (Clint) Majors was born December 29, 1964 in Jackson, TN the son of Gerald and the late Gwendolyn Cardwell Majors.

Clint was a 1983 graduate of Adamsville High School, where he played basketball for the Cardinals all four years. He graduated from Lambuth University in 1988 with a B. S. in Business Administration, and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He also played basketball for the Eagles during his college career. Clint worked as an independent catastrophic claims adjuster in the insurance industry. He enjoyed following University of Memphis sports with his dad, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Clint loved his niece and nephews, and was a very involved uncle. He was a member of the Adamsville First Presbyterian Church.

Clint departed this life on December 8, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 11 Months, 9 Days. He is survived by his father, Gerald Majors of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Kara (Majors) Hill and husband Cory of Adamsville, TN; a niece, Baylee; two nephews, Rob and Ben; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Clint was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gerald Majors, II.
