Barry Allen White, 45, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Gean officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery.
Barry was a native of Lauderdale County and moved to Hayden, Al for several years before moving back to Rhodesville. He was a cabling network engineer dealing mainly with fiberoptics. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and the Alabama Borderkeepers. Barry loved off-roading and Alabama Football. Roll Tide!!!
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James “Jimboy” White; paternal grandmother, Elsie Austin White; maternal grandfather, Glenn Dale Newbury; maternal grandmother, Lura Dean Vaughn Newbury; nephew, Landen Biggers; and cousins, Hollie Newbury, Chase Newbury, and Matthew Newbury.
Barry is survived by his children Eli Barron White and Tristen James White of Hayden, AL; father, James Carl White; mother Janet Newbury White; sisters, Karla White Holland (Kenneth) and Tracy White Biggers (Walker); nieces, Chelsea Dawson and Mikayla Dawson; nephews, Jacob Holland and Zachery Biggers; niece, Grace Ann Kelley (Olivia) all of Florence; special aunt, Janice White; special friend, Charlotte Hayden; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
