Funeral services for Mrs. Barri Jo Carlton Glover, age 56, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glover passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Glover was a loving wife, daughter, mom, nana, big momma, and mawmaw. She was a member of the Fruitland Baptist Church.
Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Carlton; grandparents, Jessie and Mary Lee Carlton, and Marguerite Shong; and mother-in-law, Mildred “Lucy” Glover.
Mrs. Glover is survived by her husband, John Glover; daughter, Samantha Inman; three stepchildren, Johanna Hazelwood, Hope Glover, and Cody Glover; six grandchildren, Paxton George, Ty Inman, Jayden Glover, Skye Davis, Jaxson Hazelwood, and Breonna Brason (Zac); her mother, Pauline Green Carlton; four sibling, Bill Carlton, Bobby Carlton (Edith), Bradley Carlton, and Jessica Flowers (Jonathan); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
