Mr. Barney Peppers, age 81, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on January 18, 2025. Born on February 12, 1943, to the late Horace and Maudie Peppers, Barney was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend to many. Known for his love of cars, he enjoyed reminiscing about the vehicles he worked on and owned. He cherished spending time with his family, sharing stories, and lending a helping hand whenever needed. Above all, he loved his son, Adam, more than life itself.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Peppers, and sister-in-law, Ruby Peppers; nephew, Justin Slaton
He is survived by his son, Adam (Amanda) Peppers; grandchildren, Larissa Peppers and Krystin Patterson; great-grandchildren, Kylie Peppers, Rachel Patterson, and John Jr. Patterson; brother, Rickey Peppers; sister, Darlene Peppers (Will); and sister-in-law, Margaret Peppers. Honorable mentions include Brittany Jo Cothran, Elizabeth Clontz, Blake, Ashley and Conner Clark, Nathan and Shannon Light, Benny Cobb, Danny Norton, Richie, Gary and Mark Peppers, Kayla Jolley, Joshua and Jarrod Slaton.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
