Funeral service for Barney Allen Ward, 78, of Danville will be Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church in the Upshaw Community with Bro. Donnie Carroll, Bro. Samuel Pierce and Bro. Ira Laney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at the church.
Mr. Ward died Friday, May 5, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 18, 1938 in Winston County to Robert Frank Ward and Essie Allen Ward. He retired from Dunlop Tire and Rubber Company. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joyce Ward.
