Barbara Pearline Wilkerson Mangum, age 88 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems Skilled Care. A native of Franklin County, she was born the fourth child of Ira Ernest and Eliza May (Judge) Wilkerson on January 4, 1932. She moved to Illinois in the early 1950’s and was employed for many years as a welder for Rex-Chain Belt. Eventually, she moved home to Tennessee and built a home at Keith Springs-the mountain that she loved dearly. Barbara was very active in the Keith Springs Community Club, where she held numerous jobs for the betterment of her community. She also was very active in the Keith Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Barbara was a resident of Winchester at her time of death, but loved her community Keith Springs. She had a duel membership to Paynes Baptist Church and Roarks Cove Baptist Church. She was raised and attended Keith Springs School. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mangum; grandson, William Benjamin Gordon; sister, Mary Frances Wilkerson; brothers, William H. and his wife Lue Bell Wilkerson, Avery Floyd Wilkerson, Ernest LeVoyd Wilkerson; Olbert Prentice Wilkerson, James M. Wilkerson, Terry M. Wilkerson, Donnie Wilkerson, and David Wilkerson; and brother-in-law, George Marino. She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Angelia (Bill) McGee of Winchester, and Clifford Joel Mangum of Knoxville; grandchildren, Amanda (Wilson) Spain of Tullahoma, Jennifer (Michael) Williams of Tullahoma, Jeremy (Dottie) Gordon of Clarksburg, Maryland; Mindy McGee of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Amee (Josh) Fontana of Woodstock, Georgia, Erin McGee of Sandy Springs, Georgia, Michael McGee of Buford, Georgia, William Light of Winchester, Steven Joel Mangum of Illinois, and Floyd Stephens of Winchester; great-grandchildren, Karrah, Christopher, Kane, Kymmy, Ian, Zack, Jake, Alexis, Analeigh, Kevin, Liam, Gill, Patrick, Jared, Leanne, Jaeson, and Ashlee; great-great-grandchildren, Henley, Isabella, Anthony, and Aurora; brother, Charlie T. (Betty) Wilkerson of Keith Springs; sisters, Geraldine (Judy) Sisk of Keith Springs, Linda (Dennis) Meier of Ashland, Kentucky, Vera Jo (Sompong) Chukliang of Manchester, and Lena (Kenneth R.) Steele of Keith Springs; sister-in-law, Mary Wilkerson of Keith Springs; Maybelle Wilkerson of Keith Springs, Pam Wilkerson of Fort Bliss, Texas; and a great multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
