Barbara Misner, age 75 of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Haleyville Health Care.
Barbara was born on March 23, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama. Barbara loved to read and also liked sewing. She always had beautiful house plants, and she liked talking to people.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 3:00pm. Burial will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Barbara is survived by her children, Randy Boatwright, Bonnie (Pete Johnson) Bailey, Wilma Stevens, William Willis, Victoria Hite, and Jenny Misner; 14 grandkids; 16 great grandkids; mother, Ruby Walters; and sister, LaVerne Desiderio; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Walters; daughter, Lillian Boatwright; son, Terry Boatwright; great granddaughter, Esabella Oswalt; and brothers, Wayne Reed, and Timmy Reed; nephew, Jimmy Reed.
