Barbara Mildred Deaver Ewing, 87, of Florence, passed away August 15, 2014. She was a member of Lee Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2014 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. at Lee Heights Baptist Church with a memorial service beginning at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Charlie J. Johnson, Jr. and the Rev. Zethelyn R. Johnson.
Mrs. Ewing was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Elizabeth Deaver; first husband, Kenneth Stephen; siblings, Jean Padgett, Harry Deaver, Jr., Myron Boyer, Edgar and Bill Deaver.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Charles Dale Ewing; son, Tom Ewing; daughters, Barbara McMillen, Jena Daniel; brother, Fred Deaver; sister, Mary Gott; grandchildren, Sara Smith, Jodi Voss, Eric McMillen, Charlie Ewing; great-grandchildren, Eric, Joey and Grace McMillen; great-great-grandchildren, Audrey Ewing and Houston McMillen.
