Barbara Madru Webb Poss, died on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 1-3pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Madru loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed to sew, play cards and bingo. She attended Parkview Baptist Church until she became unable.
Preceding Madru in death were her parents; husband, Fred Poss; and children, Karen Gilbert and Sharon Haynes.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Stephanie Royster (Doug), Daniel Haynes (Heather), Sara Clem (Andrew), and Drew Gilbert (Lorin); fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Moody and Linda Long; as well as many nephews and nieces.
Her family will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to express special thanks to her dear friend, Etta, for her love and special care.
