Barbara Lyn Hamel

Age 70 of White House went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 30, 2021 at her home. She was born February 25, 1951 in Liberal, Kansas. She worked as a secretary for John Hamel Ministries. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Her husband of 31 years, John, dictated his work to her and she helped him write 68 books and 350 articles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis & Kressie Gay Nickerson; son, Jude Michael Hamel; sister, Debbie Brightbill. She is survived by her loving husband, John Hamel, White House, TN; brothers, Corwin Nickerson, Tulsa, OK and Steve Nickerson, Hollywood, FL; two nieces, Jennifer Cross, Midland, TX and Erika (Bryan) White, Nashville, TN. Graveside service and interment is scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2pm in Hillcrest Cemetery. No public visitation is planned.
