Barbara Lou Koch , age 77, of Muscle Shoals passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church, Sheffield. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Bill Bedsole officiating. Committal service will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mrs. Koch was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sheffield where she was an active member of the Ladies Bible Study. She was also a member of Town and Country Garden Club, Sweet Adelines, and “The” Bridge Group. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Abel Koch, Sr. Survivors include her Sons, James Abel Koch, Jr. & wife Nikki of Muscle Shoals, Kevin Noel Koch of Tuscumbia; Sister, Patricia Ann Ritter of Nashville; Grandchildren, Cody James Koch, Kayleigh Sommer Koch, and Madelyn Lucille Koch Nieces and Nephews. Special Thanks of Dr. Ronald McCoy and Staff and the special ladies who cared for her for the last 2 years, Liz Webb, Lucy Stevenson, Laven Coffey and Yvonne King.
