Barbara Kyle Tackett, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Hamilton, AL. She was born April 14, 1940 to the late Hershel Kyle and the late Charlene Umfress Kyle. She retired from Jones Ambulance Service after many years of service. She was a member of Potter’s Clay Church. She enjoyed visiting the Smoky Mountains and traveling, also enjoyed shopping. Her favorite thing to do was to be with her church family at Potter’s Clay.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday June 11, 2015 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Harlow, Bro. Billy Nichols, and Bro. Bud Hagstrom officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at Senter Funeral Home.
Survivors include her sons: Mike (Judy) Smith of Hamilton, AL, Mitch (Brenda) Reed of Golden, and Jim (Christine) Jones of Fulton; Daughters: Kathy Lolley, Janet Smith both of Hamilton, AL, and Sabrina (Barry) Dulaney of Hodges, AL; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; sisters: Wilma Tucker of Hamilton, AL, Ann Nichols of Dorsey, and Judy Kyle of Tupelo.
Preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Billy Ray Tackett, Sons: Carl Smith, and Charles Smith; Sister, Linda Comer, and brother-in-law, Coy Tucker.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Dulaney, Jeremy Williams, Shane Lolley, Jerry Reed, Jason Reed, Marty Burney, Lecil Burleson, and Lee Bryant.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Levi Burney, Brody Lolley, Blake Williams, Brandon, Collin, and Matthew Walker, Jamie Reed, Kylean, Caleb, and Daven Dulaney, Jade, Jace, Jake, and Zakk Jones.
