Barbara Joan Sander of McMinnville, Tennessee, passed away at the age of 72 on Sunday, October 25th. Born on August 3, 1954 to Betty Francis Argo and Herman B. Argo, Barbara was a lifelong resident of McMinnville, the town she loved and never left. Barbara spent 35 years working in the Warren County Superintendent’s Office, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and sense of humor. She lived a beautiful life, always surrounded by loved ones.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Steve Sander; her daughter, Lindsey Sander; her sister, Karen Simmons; two nieces, Stephanie Evans and Shelley Bolich; and two nephews, Ryan Simmons and Randy Simmons. She also leaves behind other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st from 12–2 PM CST and service following at McMinnville Funeral Home.
In an effort to properly remember Barbara, the family asks that her wishes to be surrounded by only white flowers are honored.
