Barbara Jean Pitts of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away Thursday morning, June 19th, 2025, at Elk River Nursing and Rehab in Fayetteville, Tennessee. She was born on July 11th, 1943 in Fayetteville, TN and was 81 years old.
Barbara was a former secretary at Brady Tile and Marble and worked for many years at Lincoln County Adult Education. She enjoyed Bird watching, sewing and crafts. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Park City Baptist Church for many years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory
Funeral service will follow at 3:00pm on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory
Burial will be at a later date.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Martha Baker Smith and brother Joe Maurice Smith.

Best friend, Anita Locker of Fayetteville, TN
She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives.
