Barbara Jean Parker, age 83 of Parrish, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Parrish Church of Christ, services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Odom Memorial Cemetery. Joey Sparks and Brent Barton will officiate.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her Father-George Southwood; Mother-Mattie Southwood; Husband of 59 years-Jimmy Parker.
She is survived by her Daughter-Tammy Wyers (Greg); Son-Tim Parker (Beth); Sister-Shelby Jo Blankenship; Grandchildren-Brent Barton (Courtney), Daniel Wyers (Megan), Alicea Croy (Andrew) and Darius (Ashlyn); Great Grandchildren-Summer, Brodie, Isaac, Will, Noah, Amelia and Caroline; Great-Great Grandchildren-Reign and A’moura.
