Barbara Jean Leech, age 76 of White House passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Capstone of Station Camp in Gallatin. She was born May 29, 1948 in New York City, NY to James & Dorothy Hoppenthaler White, Sr. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She loved attending their school and sporting events and spending time with them every chance she got. She loved sewing and telling anyone who would listen about Jesus. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James White, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Steve) Chapek, Columbia, TN and Noel (Reese) Miller, White House, TN; brother, Robert White, OR; sisters, Margie Johnson, NJ, Clarice Reynolds, PA, Marion Snow, NC and Lanaire McKinney, NJ; 7 grandchildren, Aubree Marshall, Noah Chapek; Kylee Becher, Jonas Chapek, Baylee Miller, Micah Chapek and Selah Chapek; 2 great-grandchildren, Xylah and Weston. A Celebration of Life memorial service i scheduled for Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell in White House, with Pastor Ashley Mofield officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery Columbarium. Visitation is planned for Monday, December 30, 2024 12pm-2pm at the funeral home.
