Mrs. Barbara Jean Drummond, age 80, of Bremen passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Drummond was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Gladys McClain; husband, Beaver Drummond; son, Ricky Joe Drummond; and brothers, Frank McClain, George McClain, Charles McClain and Robert McClain.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Drummond (Ninfa Garcia) and David Drummond (Sue); daughter, Darlene Lawson (Tracey); brother, Delbert McClain; sisters, Pauline Welch and Helen Key; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
