Barbara Jean Cawthron, age 77 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bedford County on November 12, 1945, to the late William V. and Mattie Lou (Vaughn) Reed. A dedicated homemaker, Barbara Jean was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. Her family will remember her for her sweet, loving, and caring nature…she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Waldrep; and brother, Billy Reed.
