Mrs. Barbara Jean Bramble, age 89 of Trinity, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the NHC Health Care Center in Moulton. Mrs. Bramble was born on May 3, 1935, in Lafayette, Indiana to Daniel Shumate and Bertha Weir Shumate. She was a member of the Flint Church of Christ, an avid Major League Baseball fan and a big Indiana Hoosier Basketball fan. Besides watching her ball games on TV, she was a huge supporter of her children playing sports activities and spending time with her wonderful grandchildren.
Mrs. Bramble was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bramble; her daughter, Teresa Meyers; parents, Daniel and Bertha Shumate; two sisters, Dorothy Vanhook and Janice Gross. She leaves to cherish her memory by her children, Tracie (Frank) McCreless and Steve (Maleea) Meyers; her grandchildren, Brayden Meyers, Dylan and Lindsie McCreless; also, a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Bramble will be placed to rest beside her husband in Elmwood Cemetery in Romney, Indiana at a later date with the assistance of Sanders Funeral Care in Indiana.
