Mrs. Barbara Jean Bradford WinstonBarbara Jean Bradford Winston, a native of Huntsville, AL, was born August 16,1946, the third of six children, born to the late William Howard Bradford, Sr. and the late Mrs. Tommie Mae Douglas Bradford. Barbara finished her earthly journey Thursday morning, April 7, 2022, at her home. Two sisters, Sharrion Denise and Doris Elizabeth Bradford preceded her in death.

She graduated from Councill Training School in Huntsville, AL. After graduation from high school, she attended Grady Memorial School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA where she earned the RN Degree. She accepted a job offer in the Atlanta School System as a school nurse where she worked for more than thirty years. Barbara was an active member of World Changers Church under the pastorage of Rev. Dr. Creflo Dollar. Her hobbies were cooking, traveling, and interacting with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Precious memories of Barbara will be cherished by her son, Derrick Winston (Tammie) of Tyrone, GA and her daughter, Tasha W. Paige (Preston) of  Stockbridge, GA; one sister, Haley B. Bone (Walter) Huntsville AL; two brothers: William Howard Bradford Jr. of Huntsville, AL and Frankie Lee Bradford Sr. of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren: Amber, Preston, and Caleb Paige, Robert Winston, and Dominique W. Pruitt (Paul); two great grandchildren: Levi Winston and Eden Pruitt; four nephews: Christopher and Labron Bone,  Frankie Bradford, Jr and Jason Bradford; a god sister, Sylvia Flakes (Randolph) and a host of  cousins, friends, and colleagues.
