Mrs. Barbara Jayne Smith, age 87 of Athens, AL passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Smith was born on February 11, 1933 in Niles, OH to Henry Vernon Piper and Mable Jones Piper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth E. Smith; daughter, Cheryl Ann Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Piper Bakrevski; son, Kenneth E. Smith, Jr. (Cathy); grandchildren, Michael K. Smith, Joey R. Smith, Bryan R. Bakrevski, Erik R. Bakrevski, Tifany Weber and Madeline Smith; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Smith and her late husband were owners of Lake Heating and Ventilation in Crown Point, IN.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Mrs. Smith will be interred at Bushnell Military Cemetery in Bushnell, FL
