Barbara J. Allen Murphree, 68, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at The Meadows in Fulton . She was born January 20, 1945 to the late Frank and Lilly Westmoreland Allen in Kentucky. She was a member of Saucer Creek Church of Christ. She, along with her husband Bethay started Murphree’s Water Front Campgrounds in 1985. She enjoyed painting pictures, crocheting, water recreation, fishing, shopping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by 2 Sons, Clifford (Lana) Murphree and Perry (Mary) Murphree both of Fulton, 3 Grandsons, Sam Murphree, Kyle Murphree, and Alex Murphree, 2 Granddaughters, Emma Murphree, Erin Murphree, 3 Brothers, 2 Sisters, Daughter in Law, Renee Murphree.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bethay Murphree, Parents, Frank and Lilly Allen, 1 Grandson, Quinton Murphree, 2 Brothers, 1 Sister.
Pallbearers are Martin Allen, Chris Allen, Adam Allen, Noel Allen, Jeremy Timms.
Honorary Pallbearers are Fred Mays, and Clyde Wilson.
