Barbara Gilbert of Prospect passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was born in Prospect, TN on April 9, 1961 and was 57 years old.
She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church. She loved working in the church and was a devoted usher. She enjoyed cooking, baking, taking care of her family, and watching her favorite tv shows and soap operas.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 18th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral Service and visitation will be on Saturday, January 19th with visitation from 11:00am until 12:00pm and service following at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Maplewood cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents, Roberta Randolph and Noah Smith, and maternal grandparents, Ozell and Katherline Gilbert
