Funeral services for Barbara Gay, 84, of Vinemont will be Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Cullman Funeral Home, Rev. Steve Rodgers and Rev. Buddy Price officiating, with interment at Flint Creek Baptist Cemetery in Vinemont. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Gay died Wednesday, December 14th at Woodland Nursing Home. She was born February 8, 1932 in Cullman to William Dewey Reeder and Elsie Mae Reeder. She worked for the County School System for many years. She was a member of Flint Creek Baptist Church for 68 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert; daughter, Angela; and brother, Bobby Reeder.
Survivors include a son, Darrell (Jama) Gay; two daughters, Ann (Hobert) White and Judy (Dewayne) Pearson all of Vinemont. Four grandchildren: Julie (John) Evans, Cody (Ashley) Pearson, Leah (Cody) Harris and Cordale Gay. Four great-grandchildren: Taylor & Katelyn Evans, Whitlan and Walter Harris. A brother-in-law, Truman (Mary) Gay of Naples, FL; a sister-in-law, Billie Moon of Cullman. Two nieces and one nephew and lifelong friend, Betty Drake.
