Barbara F Vinson, 71, of Walnut Grove, Hardin County, TN, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, in her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.
Barbara was born on March 30, 1946, in Hardin County, TN, to the late Gulmer and Artie (Highland) Benson. On June 21, 1967, in Lauderdale County, AL she was married to Alton Vinson who survives. Barbara is survived by 1 daughter, Nora (Jeff) Swank, of South Bend IN; grandchildren, Tiffany (Shawn) Brugh, Jerrid (Brooke) Arnold, Branden (Kalena) Arnold, Charity Swank, Ian (Angela) Swank, Hilary (Dave) Pratt, Jocelyn (Sean) DuPuis and J. David Marody. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, Ally and Laylah; 2 siblings Betty (RL) Qualls, and Curtis (Kathy) Benson. Barbara was preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Benny, Rod, and James Benson.
Barbara was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church of South Bend, IN.
