Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Barbara Deane Statum Morris, age 75 of Winchester who passed away at her home on August 29, 2020. She was a Franklin County native and a 1963 graduate of Franklin County High School. She worked for the Herald Chronicle in advertising sales for a number of years. She later worked in sales for the Trade Envelope Company in Tullahoma until her retirement in 2007. In her retirement years she enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening and life with her cat. Ms. Morris is preceded in death by a son, John Hanson; her mother, Reva Modena Clark Statum, her father, Richard Dean Statum and a brother, Richard Statum. She is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Jason) Davis of Decherd and Jennifer (Mitch) Fitzpatrick of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Chae (Adam) Howard of Knoxville, Chelsea Baker of Decherd, Samantha Fitzpatrick and Sydney Fitzpatrick, both of Murfreesboro; great-grandson, Trevor Smith of Decherd. At the request of Ms. Morris all services will be private.
