Barbara Christopher, 68, was D.O.A at North Miss. Medical Center after a very brief illness. Barbara was born on March 19, 1956 to William Fletcher West and Mattie Lucille Barnes West. She married Perry Christopher on June 19, 1971 and, to this union was born two sons, Joey and wife Beverly and Matt and wife, Kathleen. Nanny loved her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Barbara was a skilled seamstress and worked over 40 years in several furniture manufacturing plants.
A service celebrating her life will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 2 PM in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with private ground burial at Union Cemetery south of Plantersville. Visitation will be from Noon-service time on Tuesday only. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo is honored to be serving their neighbors. A full obituary will be posted on Jan. 10, 2025.
