Barbara Anne Koontz, 67, of Florence, AL died on April 13, 2026. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 10 am-12 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 12 pm in the chapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marion Lisheness; husband, Eddie Koontz; son, William Scott Hines; grandson, Coby Hines; and sister, Jane Lisheness.
She is survived by her sons, John Hines (Tara) Daniel Hines; daughter, E.J. Kelsey (Mike); brother, Robert Lisheness; grandchildren, Morgan Hines (David White), Anthony Hines, Eli Hines, Chloe Kelsey, and Alyssa Hines; great grandson, Isaiah Scott Elmer White; and great granddaughter, Allana Faith White.
She loved her family. She was a Catholic by faith.
