Barbara Ann Wells Dyson was born on January 17, 1947 in Martinsville, Virginia, the daughter of the late Hassell and Ada Mozell Rakes Wells.
Ms. Dyson was a resident of Hardin County, Tennessee for 16 years. She loved coloring, Bingo, puzzles, and listening to gospel and country music.
Barbara Ann Dyson departed this life on March 26, 2016 in Hardin County, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 2 months, 9 days.
Barbara is survived by her 2 daughters, Crystal Locklear of Savannah, Tennessee and Lori Massey, and her husband James, of Greensboro, North Carolina; sister, Kathleen Maxey of Martinsville, Virginia; 8 grandchildren, Shawn Locklear, Matthew Locklear, Kira Locklear, Justin Nicholson, Vicky Powell, Johnny Powell, Amy Heffinger, and James Heffinger; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ted Crowder; daughter, Crissy Crowder; and 3 sisters, Patsy Roop, Gladys Black, and Marty Bowman.
