Barbara Ann Sword of Valdosta Georgia passed away May 28, 2021 at the age 70. She was born March 1, 1951 in Cullman to Alford and Flora Russell Burks. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Snider Taylor and brothers: William Alford Burks, John Edmond Burks, Carl Henry Burks Sr. and Robert Lee Burks. Funeral services are Thursday June 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with interment following services in Good Hope Cemetery. Survivors are: husband Danny Eugene Sword, daughter Dana Whitehead, sons heath Whitehead, Keith Whitehead, sisters Frances Gutenschwager, Ruby (Gary) Cloer, Maybell (Ricky) Greer, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
