Funeral service for Barbara Ann Steele, 69, of Hartselle, will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Francis Proctor officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Steele died June 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 11, 1949 in Cullman County to Charles Weaver and Mary Taylor Weaver. She loved to garden, cook, sew, and care for her cat Booger, who also survives her. She was known as a caregiver; both professionally and in her personal life. She was always looking out for the best interests of others. Ms. Steele was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
