Funeral services for Barbara Ann Schieman, age 80, will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery in Humboldt, TN. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 AM until 2 PM on Monday, June 16, 2025, in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home.
Ms. Schieman, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Ms. Schieman is preceded in death by her parents, Needham Newell and Eutoka Pace; her daughter, Marilyn Riggs; and her son, Phillip Riggs.
Ms. Schieman is survived by her two sons, Wade Riggs Jr. and Brian Riggs both of Humboldt, TN; her daughter, Cynthia Powers of Humboldt, TN; two sisters, Linda Kay Chandler of Milan, TN and Brenda Franks of Media, TN; one brother, Ronnie Newell of Trenton, TN; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
