A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Barbara Ann Quarles, age 76 of Ashland, who passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Quarles was a native and former resident of Tuscaloosa, AL but had resided in Clay County for the past eight years. She was a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and the owner of Capstone Title Company where she conducted property research. Mrs. Quarles was a member of Taylorville Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Hudgins of Ashland; two sons: Robert W. Quarles (Laura) of O’Fallon, MO and Ronnie E. Quarles (Lesa) of Jones, AL; one sister, Shirley Crawford (Gill) of Springfield, TN; two brothers: Lawrence Fair (Sharon) and Temple Fair (Sarah) both of Ralph, AL, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Quarles was preceded in death by her parents: Fred Fair and Ellen Poole Fair; her husband, Robert M. Quarles and her brother, Bobby Lewis Fair.
