Barbara Ann Faulkner of Huntsville, AL passed away from complications due to Parkinson’s disease on October 17, 2026 at the age of 83.
Barbara Faulkner was born in Huntsville Alabama to Thomas R Butler and Lady Ruth Butler on November 6, 1942. She went to Huntsville High School and graduated in 1960. She worked as a clerk for the city of Huntsville for 5 years, but then transitioned to her true passion of working as a professional artist while selling her work around the southeast. She later went on to own Artistic Images art gallery from 1980 -1993. After having to relocate from Huntsville, she transitioned into teaching art at multiple locations across US.
Barbara Faulkner is survived by her son, Michael Faulkner (Beth); grandchildren Brian Faulkner (Stephanie), Kelly Faulkner (fiancé Ethan McFalls) and Lauren Trull (Adam); two great grandchildren and a niece and nephew. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Troy Curtis Faulkner Jr.; parents Thomas R Butler and Lady Ruth Butler, and brother, Preston Butler.
There will be a graveside service for the family at Maple Hill Cemetery in November.
