. Avis Ione Fox, age 93 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Athens Health and Rehab. Mrs. Fox was born on October 30, 1924 in Trommald, Minnesota to Louis Ringler and Henrietta Mae Sass Ringler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Fox; son, Richard A. Fox; 1 brother and 1 sister.
Mrs. Fox is survived by her daughter, Carol Wasylak and husband Gregory; grandchildren, Tom Belt, Lance Belt, Bryan Belt, Michael Belt, Ryan Fox and Kristin Fox Jackson; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Fox enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Services for Mrs. Fox will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with D. L. Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:50 prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
