Mrs. Avice Marion Hanline Russel, 87, of Florence, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2012. Visitation will begin at 1pm Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2pm in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Russel was a native of Butterfield, MN and had been a resident of Florence for 52 years. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Florence.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Darrell Russel and a brother, John Hanline.
She is survived by her children, Duane Russel (Leslie), Kansas City, MO, Phyllis Russel, Knoxville, TN, Dale Russel (Debra), Florence, Beverly Robertson (Sam), Killen, AL, Paul Russel (Sheila), Killen, AL, Floyd Russel (Martha), Fayetteville, NC, Keith Russel (Tonya), Lexington, AL, Becky Robertson (Terry), Pueblo, CO and Juanita Williams (Keith), Florence, AL.; grandchildren, Darcy Russel, Andy Russel, Tony Russel, Amy Russel, Chris Robertson, Melissa Blankenship, Michelle Wilkerson, Sabian Russel, Camille Russel, Marcie Teal, Leanne McLaughlin, Justin Teal, Jessica Wallace, Adrian Russel, Marianna Russel, Zachary Russel, Lyle Robertson, Audra Robertson, Jessica Williams, and Rachel Williams; and 10 great-grandchildren.
