ROGERSVILLE-On Thursday Rogersville Police were in a standoff with a suspect who shot and wounded a man in the area of County Roa 70 and County Road 562 at around 5:00 PM.
A man was shot in the face after a domestic dispute turned violent according to authorities. The shooting victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
The Rogersville Police Department and other Lauderdale County agencies are searching for a shooting suspect who authorities say fled Thursday after a standoff.
After the shooting, according to police authorities, the suspect ran into the woods. At around 9:30 PM it was believed the suspect was still in side a home. Officials attempted to make contact using a loudspeaker since they arrived on the scene. Teams deployed a robot into the home to make sure that he was still inside. at 11:45 PM it was determined Tucker was not in the home. He is considered armed.
