Austin Skylar Lumpkins, 25, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Mississippi County, AR lending a helping hand to someone in need. Born in Hattiesburg, MS, he was a barge loading truck operator and was passionate about becoming a pilot. He had a big heart and loved to make people laugh. He was a very hard worker and loved spending time working on cars with his Papaw. He loved his family, family meals and family gatherings.
Services will be Saturday, June 8, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his mother – Amanda Reno Wells (Kenny) Crawfordsville, AR and formerly of Tishomingo, MS; father – Edward Lumpkins (Jennifer) Fortson, GA; two sisters – Breanna Lumpkins and Faith Lumpkins; grandparents – William and Becky Reno and Danny and Linda Patterson and his fiance` – Sarah Johnson, West Memphis, AR.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh and Carol Lumpkins.
Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
