MONTGOMERY-August is National Immunization Awareness Month, and Governor Ivey continues to encourage Alabamians to get the covid-19 vaccine. Governor Ivey has been rooting for this vaccine since before it was even on the shelves, which is more than President Biden or Vice President Harris could say. Her message remains simple and consistent: if you can get the shot, roll of your sleeve and get one.

Governor Ivey invited Dr. Harris to her office to sit down and have a casual conversation about the vaccine, specifically on some of the hesitancies and questions Alabamians may have. Governor Ivey asks the questions, and Dr. Harris provides the answers.
