Audy Mae Ragle, age 96, of Florence went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 19, 2015.
Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 5:30-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at Jones Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Koontz, Rev. Chuck Holt and Rev. Allen Jones officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
She was born to Rev. W.C. Jones and Vada Hairell Jones on May 4, 1919 in Waterloo, AL. She lived in South Bend, IN for 39 years and moved back to Florence, AL in 1989.
She was a member of Jones Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands. She married Quincy Handley on August 21, 1937. He passed away March 17, 1963. She married Thomas Ragle on October 14, 1966. He passed away November 1, 1980.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings and her great grandson, Collin Holt.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Fielder (Edward) and Betty Holt (Loyal); six grandchildren, Eddie Fielder, Bill Fielder (Lisa), Patty Koontz (Bruce), Ron Holt (Julie), Sandy Holt (Chuck) and Kenny Holt, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
