Audrey R. Cornwell – Obituary

Audrey R. Cornwell, 61 of Somerville, the West Point Community, died Sunday July 2, 2017 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.
Mrs. Cornwell was born July 18, 1955 in Morgan County to Lemuel Royster and Pearlie Lemons Royster. She and Roland K. Cornwell were married for 41 years. Mrs. Cornwell was a loving wife and mother; she took care of her home and family with great pride and loved the Lord with all her heart. Her favorite times were spent with her children, grandchildren and Church family. She enjoyed cook outs, fishing and playing games. Mrs. Cornwell faithfully served in her Church as a former Sunday School Teacher, Former Youth Leader and she sang in the choir.
She is survived by her husband: Roland K. Cornwell; her sons: Keith Cornwell and Jonathan Cornwell; her daughter: Katrina Crouch; her grandchildren: Amarionna Cornwell, Selena Cornwell, Triston Cornwell, Ivan Crouch, Nolan Crouch and Tobin Crouch; her brothers: Tim Royster, Steve Royster, Mitchell Royster; sisters: Hazel Brock, Lolanda Childs, Melba Cox and Ruby Baldwin. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lemuel Royster and Pearlie Lemons Royster; her brothers: Wendell Royster, James Royster and John Royster and a sister: Sandra Fowler.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday July 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan City Church of God with pastor: Danny Carter, officiating. Burial will be in Rescue Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday July 7, 2017 at Morgan City Church of God.
