Audrey-Stanfill-1420198391Audrey Jewell Hay Stanfill, age 82, passed away on Thursday January 1, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Audrey was born on October 12, 1932 to the late Alan Hay and Ethel Humphrey Hay in Maury County, Tennessee. Audrey married Lester Stanfill and together they raised a family and shared a life together until his passing in 2007. Audrey was a good mother and a dedicated homemaker. She deeply loved her family and always made sure they were fed. Audrey was Christian and a member of Theta Church of Christ.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Chapel in Santa Fe, Tennessee.

Audrey is survived by her son Tony (Renee) Stanfill of Columbia; daughters Beverly (Stanfill) Lentz of Columbia and Carla (John L.) Morton of Santa Fe; grandchildren Tammy McWright of Nashville, Brian Lentz of Spring Hill, Shane Lentz of Spring Hill, John “Bubba” Morton, and Michelle Morton Gomez; and sisters Sherry King, Linda Griggs, and Wilma Hood.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Lester Stanfill; parents Alan and Ethel Hay; daughter Brenda Stanfill Patterson; sisters Helen Hill, Lecy Hay Lewis, Deborah Humphrey, and Mary Montgomery; and brothers Donald B. Hay and Larry Hay.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Blocker, Alan Faulkner, Michael Brady, Jake Brady, Gary Ola, and Jimmy Woods.
Honorary Pallbearer is Johnny Cates.
