Audrey ClineAudrey Geraldine Perdue Cline, age 95, resident of Columbia, passed away on Sunday May 15, 2022 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Derek Long officiating. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 PM at Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM service hour at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Audrey was born June 15, 1926, in Sumner County, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Aubrey Floyd Perdue and the late Luzincha Knowles Perdue. She raised her family in Portland, Tennessee and then after the death of her son she moved to Hendersonville. She cherished her time there practicing as an LPN at Madison Hospital. Her favorite pastime was the love of her many dogs over the years. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Toward the later part of her life she relocated to Columbia to be close to her daughters. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Brenda (David) McDougal of Columbia and Paulette Meador of Columbia; grandchildren, Timothy (Rose) Fox of Columbia, Ashley (Josh) Rubin of Del Mar, CA, Derek (Rachel) Long of Chapmansboro, TN, and Austin Carpenter; and great grandchildren, Briana (Nick) Fox Moore, Tristan Fox, Elenor Long, Zeke Long, Jonah Rubin, and Wyatt Rubin.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Alan Meador; daughter, Vickie Lynn Meador; and brother, Aubrey Glenn Perdue.

Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
