Mrs. Audrey Doris Murscoe, 90, of Florence, passed away on July 24, 2016 after a short illness. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church; she liked cooking and gardening, and her plants. She loved being a homemaker.
A funeral mass will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Roy Runkle officiating. She will be buried alongside her late husband, Frank at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Murscoe; parents, Stephen and Madeline Browne and son-in-law, Chad Cohenour.
Survivors include her daughters, Virginia Murscoe Cohenour of Florence and Madeline Livingston (Andy) of Decatur, GA; sons, Frank Murscoe of Florence and Matthew Murscoe of Gainsville, FL; grandchildren, Madeline Camp (Robert) of Birmingham, Audrey Newton (Will) of Florence, Frances Cohenour of Florence; Marie Halevy of Atlanta, GA; Emily Halevy (Matt Leatherman) of Decatur, GA, Oliver Livingston of Decatur, GA and Tara Murscoe of Atlanta, GA ; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph School Foundation, 115 Plum Street, Florence, AL 35630.
